Dear Supporter,
April was a very busy month for us. Every day from Monday to Friday I have zoom meetings with servants, workers and missionaries. Throughout the month, we had 4 families who visited us both before Easter and after the holidays. Also in April, we had counseling and equipping meetings for servants and workers.
On my birthday I was visited by 3 families with whom I had a blessed fellowship. Together with Colin and Ethan, I visited the elders from TRCC in Ducktown, with whom I had a time of sharing and encouragement in the Lord's work. For me, April was a difficult month physically. I had 3 operations on my teeth due to severe inflammation. I thank God that I am currently fine, but I will need a few more visits to the doctor. Despite the dental setbacks, we prepared some land for planting and at the same time we started buying some chickens for the farm. As for my family, Iulia is busy with her medical billing job and David and Estera are preoccupied with school and violin and bread lessons.
On April 23 I was invited by Grace Community Church from Spartanburg, SC, to hold a youth conference. And on April 30 we were visited on the weekend by another family with whom we had a time of sharing. Every Wednesday we meet with some of the leaders of First Baptist Church in Robbinsville, NC.
We still have some repair projects for some of our equipment that has broken. We need the replacement of a well pump that broke and the replacement of the motor for the wood splitter. In September, with the will of God, my team and I will prepare for a mission trip to Europe. I invite you to be part of this work of equipping and preparing ministers for the Churches of God. Continue to pray for us.
Ethan and Sarah spent the first two weeks of April adjusting to life as new parents, and are happy to report Baby Jane is healthy and doing well. Ethan preached at The Rock on April 23rd and Robbinsville First Baptist Church on April 30th. Ethan has also helped in designing an updated website for ETM, which you can find at etmnc.org. There you can find our latest newsletters and support the ministry through online giving. We would value your feedback as we transition to a new site.
April was stressful for Colin requiring extensive research, and counseling confused and frustrated church leaders on difficult subjects induced by dramatic cultural shifts, time constraints and changes in language and values. The problem with April is that he is the only tractor operator on staff and thus responsible for clearing and repairing roads damaged by winter and spring storms.
Thank you for the tireless support and help you give us as we seek to fulfill God’s calling here at Eternal Truth Ministries.
