Dear Friends,
In October I continued the mission started in Europe, more precisely in Albania. On October 1, Sunday morning, I was invited by pastor Plator Collaku, from Korce, to serve by preaching and singing.
Afterward, I met with the employees of the organization in Korce. Then in the evening I was invited by pastor Urtan Kollonata to an Albanian Roma church where I served preaching the Word of God. When the services there were done, I was asked to talk and pray with the people who are going through difficulties. I am happy for the blessed time I had in the two churches. After the counseling meetings, I discussed discipleship with the pastor of the church.
On October 2, I met with Alesio Sema, General Secretary of Albanian Evangelical Alliance. We discussed the vision and strategy of ETM and how we could be a blessing to churches, pastors, missionaries, leaders, schools, and mission agencies. Albania, through its representative, Alesio Sema, requests tireless support in the equipping and discipleship of pastors. The need for discipleship is very great. Many churches have been planted but they lack leadership and discipleship. I saw the same need in Macedonia.
The same day I met Hervin Fushekati. He is the pastor of the Church of God in Tirana and also runs a Bible School called the International School of Theology and Leadership. I spoke of the need for discipleship. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful vision and strategy that Hervin has. I enjoyed the openness he had for collaboration.
On the 3rd I began the long trip home. I arrived in the USA on October 6. It was 3 intense weeks with results beyond expectations. We thank God for the success given. Another joy I had was the fact that Estera, my daughter, reached the finals with the volleyball team and they came 2nd out of 16 teams.
October 13-15 I was invited to Bethesda Baptist Church from Houston, TX. Each day, our team has taken care of equipping, discipling, and advising those who requested our help. We want to thank you for the tireless help provided to the organization and our team. May the Lord Jesus bless you and give you grace and success.
During October, Ethan and Sarah continued their Models training with a group from Robbinsville First Baptist Church, and Ethan began ordination training with three more men, bringing the total to four men going through the training with him.
God willing, starting February 18 until March 7, 2024, together with 3 ETM teams we will be in Albania, Macedonia, Spain, Italy, France, Romania, and Hungary as part of ETM’s growing international strategy to train disciple makers across Europe. We ask you to support us in this particularly important work.
Thank you once again and we wish you Happy Thanksgiving.
