Dear Friends,
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." I Thessalonians 5:16-18
Being contented is the attitude of the mind and of the heart. We are happy and grateful for God's care in the month of August.
I had a busy schedule every day. Along with the regularly scheduled training meetings over Zoom, I took care of the preparation of some missionary families that visited us. Pastors and ministry workers came to receive counseling. I also gave counseling to a family that came with some problems to work through. We were fortunate to have guests in August who shared a blessed time of closeness to God and reflection with us. We were asked to provide the spiritual resources of ETM for equipping and revitalizing churches.
In August, Ethan and Sarah kicked off the new school year of student ministries with a youth overnighter at RFBC. They have met with leaders and planned out the year’s lesson series and events. Ethan has continued to work with the Rock Community Church as they navigate difficult times, and has continued to work through ETM’s ordination training material with a brother in Christ in Romania. The two of them have also been preparing for the international trip.
Colin continues doing well but August was a very busy month for him. Beside his normal counseling/advising schedule, he had two weeks of intensive training/teaching sessions of 8-10 hours a day for two weeks at the end of which his daughter, Cathy Nelson, arrived and has been a blessing to all the team.
In addition to all this, I took care of the preparation of the mission in Romania, Macedonia and Albania. I will be on this missionary trip to equip and train workers together with Ethan and Endri. Ethan departed with me on September 12. He returns on September 19, and I will return October 6. We need your prayers. We will give a report about the trip when I return next month. Thank you for everything you do for ETM.
May God bless you and reward you with chosen blessings.
